You must have completed the student registration process with UL in order to access the application form.
PLEASE NOTE: International students and non-EU fee paying students are NOT eligible for the Laptop Loans Scheme.
If you do not meet any of the criteria above you may be eligible to apply for the Student Assistance Fund.

To be eligible for loan of a laptop you must be registered as a full or part-time student in UL and be from one of the target groups identified in the National Access Plan 2022-2028 and provide evidence of socio-economic disadvantage.
Please note there is no guarantee that you will be successful in your application, even if you meet the criteria for this scheme.
UL must be satisfied that a student who receives a laptop under this scheme has demonstrated the financial need for the device to access their programme of study - i.e. that they or their family do not have the means to purchase such a device themselves.
Students (undergraduate or postgraduate) who are transferring to UL from another higher education institution and who were in receipt of a laptop under this scheme will also be prioritised. If you are in this latter category, you must provide a letter from your previous institution confirming that you received a laptop under this scheme and that you have since returned that laptop.
Please note that the Information Technology Department in UL does not support technical issues with these laptops. If you have an issue with your laptop please contact Dell Support, information below.
Dell Pro Support 1800-246-105
All laptops are covered for 5 years support by Dell from the date on which they were originally purchased. Therefore all laptops currently in this scheme are still under Dell warranty.
