Spring Semester Exams

The Spring Semester Provisional Exam Timetable is due to be published on Monday, 13th March 2023 - click here to access UL timetables

On the day of your Exam
 

  • Remember to bring your Student ID Card to all exams.
  • Find out where your exam centre is ahead of time, confirm the 'Building' and 'Location' via the timetable. Click here for UL Maps
  • Give yourself plenty of time to arrive, factoring for traffic and parking.
  • Familiarise yourself with the Exam Guidelines and be sure not to bring unauthorised materials/items
  • After you finish your exam, please ensure your area is tidy.

I-Grades

The I-Grade applications portal will open nearer to the exam period.

It is important that students fully understand the I-Grade process and how it may affect your coursework and progression.

Exam Results

Students will be able to access exam results for Autumn 22/23 from January 19th.
We have included some information below that may be useful to have a read through before you receive your results.  

 

How do I access my results? 

On January 19th students can access Autumn Semester Exam Results via the results portal (the portal is currently closed)
You can view your transcript on the Student Portal (www.si.ul.ie) throughout the academic year.  

You will need your password and student number to access your results.
To reset your password, follow these steps: 

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com/ 
  2. Enter your email address 
  3. Select 'Can't access your account?' 
  4. Follow on screen instructions 

If you still encounter issues log a call with ITD (select ‘Forgotten Password). 

 

What do I do if I am unhappy with my results? 

Students that are unhappy with their exam results are encouraged to View their Scripts.

After a student has viewed their scripts and finds they are still unsatisfied, they may apply for a Grade Recheck.
