Workshops Week 10

11.11.2022

The RWC continued to facilitate our weekly workshops for the semester last week. Lawrence carried out two different workshops during Week 10; 'Reader-Based Writing: Writing with an Audience in Mind' and 'Writer-Based Writing: Developing the Argument'  .

Our first workshop, 'Writer-Based Writing: Developing the Argument' took place online on MS Teams on Tuesday and Thursday. This workshop focused on planning an essay, choosing a topic, and gathering information. We had 19 attendees at this workshop over the course of the two sessions.

Our second workshop 'Reader-Based Writing: Writing with an Audience in Mind' also took place online on MS Teams on Tuesday and Wednesday. This session took participants through the process of deciding how best to word what they want to say in their paper. Participants learned strategies on wording their essay, so the audience finds the content credible. We had 20 attendees at this workshop over the course of the week.

We thank everyone who attended the workshops. To those who unfortunately missed out, not to worry! We have recorded versions of all our past workshops on our workshops page right here on our website. Simply click on student resources and click on the workshops page to find all the information you need!

We also have plenty more where that came from. Our workshops will continue to take place throughout the semester. Keep an eye out for our emails and social media posts for updates on all RWC resources and events!
