Faculty Writers’ Retreat
The next Faculty Writers’ Retreat will take place from July 3rd to 5th. This in-house retreat provides a facilitative, supportive environment for faculty to write for publication. In addition, writing as a member of a group, where distractions such as e-mail are minimised, serves as an additional incentive and creates a productive work atmosphere.

Writers’ Group
The Faculty Writers’ Group meets every Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am in the Writers’ Space. Here, participants are driven to write by being surrounded by a group of like-minded writers in a distraction-free environment.

Peer Tutoring in Academic Writing
Talk to a peer tutor in academic writing to get advice on writing your dissertation/thesis. As writers in high standing, peer writing-tutors make good mentors ,who can advise you on writing strategies that result in well-received written work.
Peer tutoring sessions are available to postgraduate students throughout the summer months, and can be booked online at www.ul.mywconline.com.

PhD Writers’ Group

PhD Writers’ Week
The next PhD Writers’ Week will take place from June 11th to 15th. The Writers’ Week aims to help PhD students advance their writing. The PhD Writers’ Week provides a structured approach to writing, helping participants stay ‘on track’.
