Week 5 is Learner Support Centres Week! The five learning centres in UL have teamed up with the First Seven Weeks initiative to run a selfie competition. Simply visit each of the centres and take a photo of yourself with their logo. Send your selfie to First Seven Weeks through Facebook, Messenger, Twitter or email to be in with a chance to win an iPad, or better yet an RWC hoodie!
We will also be running the first of our four academic writing workshops in the Graduate Attributes Hub! The theme of this week's workshop is Understanding the assignment: Planning and organising your writing assignments. The workshop will take place at 3pm on Tuesday and is repeated at 3pm on Wednesday. Workshops are first come, first served so get yourself down there early to be guaranteed a seat.
