A one day symposium on the role of women in rock music convened by the Popular Music and Popular Culture Research Cluster at UL. The symposium saw a public interview and on-campus performance by Girl In A Coma (San Antonio, Texas). The symposium also saw a screening of ‘Don’t Need You: The History of Riot Grrrl’ directed by Kerri Koch, Urban Cowgirl Productions, Los Angeles, and a performance by Girl In A Coma at Dolan’s Warehouse Limerick.
