Individual Fellowships Call 2016 – Expression of Interest

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships Call for 2016 is currently open and will close on 14th September 2016. The IF aims at: enhancing the creative and innovative potential of Experienced Researchers who wish to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility. Individual Fellowships thus provide opportunities to acquire and transfer new knowledge and to work on research in a European context (EU Member States and Associated Countries) or outside Europe. This scheme particularly supports the return and reintegration of researchers from outside Europe who have previously worked here. It also develops or helps to restart the careers of individual researchers that show great potential, considering their experience.

Support is foreseen for individual, trans-national fellowships awarded to the best or most promising researchers for employment in EU Member States or Associated Countries, based on an application made jointly by the researcher and host organisation in the academic or non-academic sectors.[1]

This action provides financial support for individual Experienced Researchers who wish to work in host organisations established in EU Member States (MS) or Associated Countries (AC). The Global Fellowships start with a significant period spent at a partner organisation located outside of Europe and conclude with a mandatory return phase in Europe.
