Evening Language Courses

For the Academic Year 2021/22, we offer our programme of evening language courses for general purposes in French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Chinese.

The classes are open to UL students and UL staff members as well as members of the general public.

For the upcoming Academic Year, we will offer the possibility to participants to attend either face-to-face (depending on guidance from Health and Safety Authority regarding COVID 19 and recommendations from the University authority) or online classes.

Each course consists of 40 hours class contact over 20 weeks running from September 2021 to April 2022.

Classes schedules are as follows:

  • Face-to-Face groups will be held from 18.00 to 20.00 on one evening per week (Tuesdays or Wednesdays, depending on the language/level). Maximum intake of 15 participants

  • Online groups will be held Thursdays from 18.00 to 20.00 (please note that in the event of high demand, some groups may have to be scheduled on Tuesdays or Wednesdays). To accommodate the delivery of online classes, there will be a maximum intake of 10 participants per group.

Further details on online delivery mode will be forwarded to registered participants closer to the start of the programme. Please note that a quality internet access is essential.

When completing your registration, you will be asked to indicate your preferred mode of delivery (face-to-face on campus and/or online).

All groups will be starting in the week of 21st of September 2021 (Week 3 of the Autumn semester).

These courses are designed for adult learners interested in learning a language or improving their existing foreign language skills.

Please note that in the event of insufficient enrolments, we may not be able to offer all languages, levels and preferred mode of delivery .
