SIM talks is an acronym for Short Informal Mathematics talks.
SIM talks take place every Tuesday at 12.30 in the MACSI seminar room, A2002.
We especially welcome non-mathematicians / statisticians! SIM talks can be a great way to get input from MACSI modelling experts on a project.
Topics can widely vary from impact of statistics in a court room to computational biophysics in biomedical research for new therapeutic and diagnostic strategies. Everyone is welcome to attend.
If you are interested in giving a SIM talk please contact macsi@ul.ie
