The School of Law took part in a very successful Open Day on Saturday the 16th of January. The Open Day attracted a huge number of prospective students along with parents, guardians, mature students and guidance councillors. Thank you to our members of staff who represented the School of Law on the Arts Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS) Faculty Stand, Norah Burns, John Lombard, Ray Friel, Laura Donnellan, Una Woods and Shane Kilcommins. Two talks were held which attracted around 100 attendees. The talks focused on our three degrees: LLB Law Plus, BA Law and Accounting and our newly created course, BA in Criminal Justice.
The School of Law would like to thank Mary Heuston, the Faculty Manager in AHSS, for all her work in organising the day and her involvement on the day. A thank you to Sean Beatty, 4th Year Law Plus, our student volunteer who provided great advice to prospective students.
