The UL Law Society will be hosting a seminar on the regulation of the legal professions in Ireland (with special reference to the Legal Services Bill) on the 12th November. The seminar will be held in Plassey House in the UL campus from 6-7pm followed by a reception.
The Law Society has received the very kind sponsorship of Arthur Cox to run this event, the discussion will be chaired by a representative from the firm. Speakers will include; Dr David McFadden of the Competition Authority of Ireland, Mr David Barniville SC, Chairman of the Bar Council of Ireland.
There will be no charge for members of the UL Law Society and students of the university. There will be a fee of €10 for practitioners. One CPD point will be awarded to practitioners who attend.
