On Tuesday the 8th of November Cormac Quinlan, Director of Policy and Strategy at TUSLA Child and Family Agency gave a talk to students in the Child Law module on Child Protection and Welfare. Cormac discussed the thresholds for child protection intervention,  transfer to/from alternative care, closing cases, diverting cases to other agencies, to area based approaches etc. He discussed the Child and Family Services, Child Welfare Intervention, Child Protection Intervention and Alternative Care. The talk was part of the AHSS Faculty Teaching Board and School of Law funded Child Law Seminar series organised by Norah Burns of the School of Law.
