Dr. Susan Leahy and Dr. Kathryn O’Sullivan attended the Socio-Legal Studies Association Annual Conference on the 5th and 6th of April. Kathryn presented a paper entitled ‘The Devil in the Detail: Property Division under British Columbia’s Family Law Act 2011’. Susan presented a paper entitled ‘A Defendant’s Right or Information Overload? The Introduction of Complainants’ Personal Records in Sexual Offence Trials’. She also chaired a session on the sexual offences stream during the conference.
Also presenting at the conference was Hope Davidson (PhD Candidate). She presented a paper entitled 'Mental Health and Mental Capacity Law Reform in the Republic of Ireland’
