Dr Seán Patrick Donlan (University of Limerick) recently presented a paper entitled ‘Island, Intersection, or In-Between? Legal Hybridity and Diffusion in the Seychellois Legal Tradition, c1750-1950’ at the Ocean of Law: Intermixed Legal Systems across the Indian Ocean World, 1550-1950 Conference held at Leiden University (7-9 December 2015). The paper was co-authored by Dr Mathilda Twomey, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Seychelles.
