The School of Law is pleased to announce that it has now passed the €1 million barrier in funded research. Across a range of activities, national, European and global, the Law School is either leading or participating in a variety of research projects, including but not limited to Horizon 2020, the Department of Children and Youth Affairs and internationally funded PhD scholarships. Launching the School’s first Research Newsletter, Prof Ray Friel, Director of Research at the School, notes he is particularly proud of both the multi-disciplinary nature of the research activity and its close connection to real world issues that have relevance in the increasing context of social transformation driven by technological and economic changes.
The Research Newsletter will issue quarterly from now on.
