Royal Irish Academy Charlemont Grant
Dr John Lombard was awarded a Royal Irish Academy Charlemont Grant earlier this year to support his research on the intersection of human rights and palliative care. As part of this, John visited the International Observatory on End of Life Care in Lancaster University from the 29 April – 3 May. During this period of mobility, John met with researchers in the IOELC as well as the School of Law. On Wednesday 1 May, John delivered a seminar on the topic of double effect reasoning in ethics and law.
