The Law School recently tendered successfully to the Revenue Commissioners for the delivery of Commercial Law and Company Law modules as part of a new Diploma in Applied Taxation. This forms part of a partnership between UL and the Revenue Commissioners in the delivery and accreditation of education programmes across a broad spectrum of legal, accounting, economics, analytics and taxation disciplines. The law tender was coordinated by Sinead Eaton and Professor Shane Kilcommins in the School, working in association with Tom Collins, the Director of the National Centre for Taxation Studies in the Kemmy Business School, and Tineke Leonard. The success builds on the School’s accreditation of public sector programmes to the Garda Síochána at both level 7 and level 9.
