Dr Sean Redmond, Research and Evaluation Unit of the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, presented an excellent paper last night, entitled Why we should be 
bothered about the influence that locally based criminal networks have on children’ The Centre for Crime, Justice and Victim Studies hosted the seminar which was chaired by Dr Andrea Ryan. The event was very well attended and an excellent question and answer session was chaired by Dr Ryan at the end of the talk.
