North South Criminology Conference 2019
The REPPP project was well represented at the recent North South Criminology Conference hosted by University College Cork on the 2ndand 3rd of September 2019. Deirdre Fullerton presented findings from a recently completed systematic evidence review, ‘Exploring the ‘black box’ of the frontline professional and young person relationship in youth justice settings. Dr John Bamber presented on his research of relationships between care workers and young people in Oberstown children’s detention campus. John Reddy presented a poster about the REPPP project and its work to inform the Irish youth justice system and better outcomes for children and families, and another concerning the ‘Making it Count’ project, which studies utilising administrative data to inform youth justice policy and practice in Ireland’.
