Moot Workshop
The first moot workshop of the new academic year was held on 15 October 2018. The workshop took place in the new Appeal Court in the Glucksman Library. The event was organised by the UL Student Law Society in collaboration with the School of Law. Dr Lydia Bracken, Director of Clinical Legal Education at the School of Law, provided attendees with an overview of mooting procedure and courtroom etiquette, while Clodagh Dunne (Auditor of the Student Law Society) and Niamh Walshe (Mooting Officer) provided the student perspective on mooting. There was a great interest among all of the attendees in mooting and advocacy. We wish all of our enthusiastic legal advocates the best of luck for the coming year!
