Ms. Una Butler, Director of Legal Services at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, gave an excellent lecture on 12th March to the LLM in International Commercial Law class. Ms. Butler’s expertise in Competition law was evident from the presentation and her experience in McCann Fitzgerald, Solicitors, in Com Reg and in the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission made for an insightful lecture. The CCPC was established in 2014 and its increased enforcement powers and many ways of discharging it’s brief were explained in an excellent manner.
