On Tuesday 3rd October, Dr Ger Coffey (Course Director of the LLM/MA Human Rights in Criminal Justice masters programme and member of the Centre for Crime, Justice and Victim Studies) delivered an invited lecture entitled “Fundamental Rights in Crime Investigation: Victims, Defendants and Policing Perspectives” on the Senior Investigating Officer Programme at the Garda College. The interactive lecture was delivered as part of a Postgraduate Diploma in Serious Crime Investigation course facilitated by Crime Investigation Training and the participants were all Detective Inspectors involved in the investigation of serious crime.
