INHS Conference 25-26th May

HHRG Conference

The International Network for Hate Studies biennial conference will be held at the University of Limerick next week on May 25th and 26th. This conference addresses such issues as racisms, homophobia, transphobia and disablism, manifestations and means of redress. Delegates include academics, policy makers, practitioners and activists.

Rose Simkins, Chief Executive, Stop Hate UK.

Mark Brookes, Disability Hate Crime Network;

Paul Giannasi, Police Superintendent, UK National Point of Contact to the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights on hate crime

Jamie Bolling, European Network on Independent Living

Robin Sclafani, Director, CEJI;

Michael Whine, Government and International Affairs Direction, Community and Security Trust

Prof Jon Garland, University of Surrey

Senator Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, Member of Seanad Éireann (Irish Senate)

David Joyce, BL, Irish Human Rights and Equality Commissioner
