On Tuesday 9th October 2018, the School of Law hosted a workshop for participants of the Housing Law & Policy online module with guest speaker Dr Una Burns, Head of Policy & Communications with Novas. The workshop was well attended and extremely engaging with representatives from Focus, Citizen’s Information, Threshold, Novas and Co-Operative Housing Ireland. Novas is a voluntary organisation and approved housing body which works with families and single adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The workshop focused on housing policy and was followed by a Q&A session with Dr Burns, Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan (School of Law) and Ms Caroline Keane (Solicitor and Manager with Community Law and Mediation).
