On Monday evening Holmes O’Malley Sexton , Solicitors hosted a reception to award their scholarship to a final year law student at UL. The prize was won this year by Law and Accounting student Ciara Murphy from Dooradoyle and was presented by Mr. John A Moran, Director of the European Investment Bank and former Secretary General of the Department of Finance. The Hon Mr Justice Don Binchy and The Hon Ms. Justice Eileen Creedon also attended the happy event, as did Senator Kieran O’Donnell and members of School of Law Faculty. This is an extremely generous and significant scholarship sponsored by Holmes O’Malley Sexton and again founder Partner Mr. Gordon Holmes was fondly remembered.
