Dr John Lombard and Dr Hope Davidson have organised an upcoming seminar titled ‘Healthcare Decision-Making and the Law’. It will take place on Thursday 3rd October from 14.00 – 16.30 and will be held in the Analog Devices Building AD2-010 in the University of Limerick.
The event will explore clinical and legal issues in healthcare decision-making in Ireland. It will concentrate on concepts of capacity and consent, with special attention paid to the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015. The event will feature speakers from the Health Service Executive, the School of Medicine NUIG, and the School of Law University of Limerick.
