On Thursday 15th March Dr Ger Coffey (Course Director of the LL.M./M.A. Human Rights in Criminal Justice and member of the Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies) visited Waterford Institute of Technology to deliver a guest lecture entitled “Covert Surveillance in the Criminal Justice Process.”
This was followed by an information session on the LLM/MA in Human Rights in Criminal Justice. This provided an opportunity for prospective students to learn about the programme including the core and elective modules, entry requirements, the application process and as well as graduate student life and service supports for students at UL. There was a very good attendance by students and staff on the B.A. in Criminal Justice and LL.B. undergraduate degree programmes at WIT.
