On Tuesday 9th October, Dr Ger Coffey (Course Director of the LLM/MA Human Rights in Criminal Justice master’s programme and member of the Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies) delivered an invited lecture entitled “Fundamental Rights in Serious Crime Investigation: Victims, Defendants and Policing Perspectives” on the Senior Investigating Officers (SIO) Programme at the Garda College. The lecture engaged participants to interact with the content and discussions facilitated the exchange of ideas and valuable insights.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Serious Crime Investigation is facilitated by Crime Investigation Training and participants were Detective Inspectors involved in the investigation of serious crime. The course is accredited by UL.
