Dr Luke Danagher awarded funding for pedagogical research
Dr. Luke Danagher was awarded research funding from the AHSS Teaching and Learning Fund for his research into enhancing student engagement and learning in large classes. In his finalised report, Dr. Danagher presented his research findings on the benefits of taking a multimedia approach to large group teaching. In providing students with a variety of resource types, fully embedding UDL principles, and utilising a variety of online resources to promote the student voice, Dr. Danagher was successful in promoting greater student engagement and further developing a greater sense of ownership over modules amongst students.
