A Conversation with Dean Strang
An Exclusive Event for Transition Year Students’
On Thursday, 8 March 2018, a room of transition year students were provided with a unique opportunity to meet with Dean Strang, a member of the defence counsel who represented Steven Avery in the Netflix documentary series, ‘Making A Murderer’.
Over the course of two engaging hours, Dean Strang discussed the challenges and importance of providing a criminal defence in trial proceedings. The conversation was led by Dr. Norah Burns of the School of Law at the University of Limerick.
The School would to thank all those that attended the event for contributing to, what was, a highly enjoyable evening of legal debate and discussion.
