COMMITTEE FOR JUDICIAL STUDIES ANNUAL DISTRICT COURT CONFERENCE 2019
The District Court conference was held from Thursday 21 March to Saturday 23 March 2019. Professor Shane Kilcommins chaired a session on child protection issues which included contributions from His Honour Judge Jeremy Richard, a Senior Circuit Judge in England, on the importance of practical case management techniques in family law & child protection case lists. There was also a Panel Session with Judge Mary Fahy, Judge Gerard Furlong and Judge Deirdre Gearty on the realities of Case Management in the District Court.
