“The course director of the LLM in International Commercial Law, Sinead Eaton, welcomed Ms. Clara Thornton, Solicitor and acting Head of Legal Services at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission to UL today. Ms. Thornton gave a very interesting talk on the enforcement powers of the Commission, the likely impact of Brexit on it’s work and the future of enforcement when new legislation is enacted in 2021. The talk was attended by LLM students and some UL staff who found it very informative and engaging.”
