The Centre for Crime, Justice and Victim Studies held a Seminar by Prof Peter Kraska on 14th March. The topic was ‘Understanding Police Militarization: 25 Years of Research Experiences’.
Prof Kraska is Chair of Graduate Studies and Research in the School of Justice Studies at Eastern Kentucky University. He is a leading scholar in the areas of police and criminal justice militarization, criminal justice theory, and research methods.
Prof. Kraska’s work has received national and international recognition. He is frequently asked to present his research and findings to academic and policy audiences, including most recently testifying for the U.S. Senate on police militarization.
