Time for a Book Club - Read Connect and Chat
Hosted by the School of Law and the Department of Politics and Public Administration
20th February 1-2.30pm
Foundation Building: F1030
This is intended as a stress-free book club for those who generally enjoy reading and would like to connect with others across the departments. The intention is to get-together once a month, and share thoughts and opinions on the selected book while meeting some new people.
With a focus on chatting with others about what we’ve read, this is not an academic examination of literature. It will include fiction and non-fiction, novels and novellas, and no doubt a few laughs too.
Opening book: Gods of Metal by Eric Schlosser's. Easy to digest (just 128 pages), but sure to get your attention. So come join us at 1pm 20 February in F1-030 and share those thoughts.
Please feel free to bring your own coffee or tea, but cake will be provided. To ensure we have enough seating and cake for all, please indicate your interest with a quick email to either anne.perkinson@ul.ie or Alan.Cusack@ul.ie.
Hope to see you there!
