The School of Law were delighted to welcome law lecturers from the Athlone Institute of Technology today (February 9th). The delegation from Athlone, who were here to discuss effective teaching practices, heard presentations from Professor Shane Kilcommins on the value of ‘capstone’ modules, Dr Lydia Bracken on the UL Law School’s clinical legal education mechanisms, Dr Kathryn O Sullivan on issues in relation to international students and Norah Burns on integrating guest speakers into teaching.
