On Monday the 19th of February guest lecturer at the School of Law Dean A. Strang gave a presentation on his forthcoming book ‘Wobbly:  America’s Biggest Mass Trial, the Rise of the Justice Department, and the Fall of the IWW’. Dean’s talk drew upon the founding of the IWW, the social context of the time, the impact of the First World War on the case and how the case was structured. The presentation attracted both staff and students of the university and was very well received. The presentation was organised by Dr Norah Burns of the School of Law.
