The Centre for Crime, Justice and Victim Studies and the School of Law were delighted to host the “Say I’m Innocent” event and to hear from two exonerated prisoners on Tuesday November 21st. Attendees heard the fascinating stories of Peter Pringle and Sunny Jacobs, both of whom spent more than 15 years in prison. The BBC documentary “Fallout”, which tells the stories of four former prisoners and explores the long-term effects of wrongful imprisonment was also screened.
