Prior to migration Required user actions
Users accessing OneDrive through the web or a mobile app do not need to take any actions prior to the migration.
Users accessing OneDrive through the OneDrive client on a laptop / desktop should upgrade to the latest OneDrive Version (V19).
- Check your current installed OneDrive Version for Windows and Mac devices (see attached guide)
- Upgrade to OneDrive V19 for any version lower than V19
Post migration user actions
Users accessing OneDrive through the OneDrive client on a laptop / desktop.
Following the migration your files will no longer sync with your old OneDrive account. To continue using OneDrive you need to “Unlink” OneDrive from the old account and connect it to the new OneDrive account. See detailed instructions below.
Users accessing through a mobile app.
After the migration you will be required to Sign Out and then Sign In using your UL user account. See detailed instructions below.
