The first change you will notice in Office 2016 is the colours as each application gets a different colour. Word is dark blue, Excel is green, PowerPoint is orange, Outlook is light-blue, and OneNote is purple.

You can change the colour to any among the three choices from File > Account > Office Theme.
Tip: If you have visual problems, the high-contrast Dark Grey theme could be an eye saver.
A new option named “Tell me what do you want to do” bulb is in the ribbon bar, so no more searching the help.

Type what you want to do in the Office program and the little genie not only shows you how to do it, like a help feature, but it lets you do it directly from here.

This feature is available across all programs in Office 2016 except OneNote.
Tip: Alt + Q is the keyboard shortcut
New chart times that helps to visualise raw data, these include Treemap, Waterfall, Pareto, Histogram, Box and Whisker, and Sunburst.
For example, this is a Treemap chart easily shows the breakdown of goods per name.

Tip: In Excel 2016, use the Quick Analysis button (right-click context menu) to display a preview of the recommended chart as per your data
Record any process on your screen with a new screencasting tool in PowerPoint. Go to Ribbon > Insert > Screen recording, then mark the part of your screen you wish to use, press record and you can then insert it directly into your presentation.
Tip: To stop recording press Window Logo + Shift + Q
