Research Interests: The EC as a Rechtsstaat: Ireland as a role model for the candidate countries; enlargement; internal market (especially free movement of persons); international trade; Social policy; labour law; equality; Ireland and the European Communities – European Union – conformity with obligations; migration; parliamentary scrutiny of EU legislation.
