Liz Brosnan

Liz Brosnan recently completed a doctorate in sociology on mental health service-user involvement, examining the inherent tensions for service-users, service-providers and movement actors in involvement practices and policies. She has been active in social movement politics for over a decade and represented a service-user perspective to national statutory and NGOs’ advisory committees. Her research interests include survivor standpoint epistemology, power dynamics, justice and recognition politics as well as gender, sexuality and spirituality in relation to mental health.
