UL’s Literary Journal The Ogham Stone to be Launched at Doolin Writers’ Weekend
The 2017 edition of The Ogham Stone, the literary journal produced at the University of Limerick, will be launched as part of Doolin Writers’ Weekend on 4th February at 8pm. UL’s new Writer-in-Residence Julian Gough will officiate, and there will be readings by contributors on the night.
The Ogham Stone 2017 showcases new Irish writing and art, with contributions by, among others, Joseph O’Connor, Marie Cadden, Catherine Phil MacCarthy, Richard Smyth, Mike Gallagher and Jaki McCarrick.
It is produced by the students of the MA in Creative Writing and MA in English, School of Culture and Communication, UL. The journal will be on sale at the launch at the special discounted price of €10 and will also be available shortly for download and in local bookstores.
