Cosán is a week-long, fun-filled ‘mini-Gaeltacht’ experience for boys & girls who are going into 1st year in secondary school in September 2016. For the third consecutive year, Aonad na Gaeilge (UL) and UL Sport Adventure Centre, Killaloe (ULAC) are joining forces to host the camp this summer at UL Sport Adventure Centre in Killaloe. An action-packed week is guaranteed! The focus will be on learning Irish through task-based activities. The morning activities will consist of interactive Irish language workshops and bilingual, outdoor team-building activities hosted by Aonad na Gaeilge UL tutors. The afternoon session will see activities on land and water led by qualified ULAC outdoor adventure sports instructors. Bilingual activities include treasure hunts, tug-o’-war, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and high ropes.
