Ar Bhruach na Sionainne
The confident voice of UL students will impress listeners via the national airwaves this summer with the launch of an innovative radio series ‘Ar Bhruach na Sionainne’. Comprising six hour-long programmes, the series is a collaborative venture between Radio na Gaeltachta and undergraduates of the Irish World Academy and the School of Culture and Communication. It features interviews with staff and students, along with performances and chat from a wide section of the campus community and showcases the vibrant musical life of the university. Máire Ní Ghráda is the coordinator and developer of applied-Irish modules for Irish World Academy students. Máire launched the series on Feb 9 2016 at 14h15 at the World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick.
