Irish Language Evening Courses - Autumn 2021

  • Our Autumn schedule of evening courses will commence the week of Monday 20th September 2021 (except An Ghaeilge Ghairmiúil (GA4006) which commences Wednesday 8th September).
  • Courses will run for 10 weeks online. There is an option to pursue a further 10 weeks in Spring (February-April 2022).
  • There are reduced rates available for full-time UL students and UL staff - e-mail ciara.considine@ul.ie

Suitable for those who have completed a basic Irish course in recent years and would like to work on developing their confidence in their spoken Irish skills.Informal approach. Facilitated development of conversational skills through themes such as games and music. €50 (10 weeks)

(Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge)

The course will focus on the self-directed language learning skills needed to build language competence and the skills needed to cover all B1 material for those intending to apply for a TEG B1 oral exam, a prerequisite requirement for entry to Professional Masters of Education (PME) primary teaching courses. NB Note: this course will not fully prepare participants for the TEG B1 oral exam (béaltriail) and should be bolstered by independent private study.
