Barbara Geraghty is lecturer in Japanese in the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics at the University of Limerick and is a member of the Centre for Applied Language Studies (CALS). She is a member of the National Steering Committee of the Post-Primary Languages Initiative. Her research interests include motivation and affect in language learning, computer-assisted language learning, language and culture and Okinawan literature.
