Biography

Carla Almanza-Gálvez holds a PhD in C18 Hispanic Literature from the University of Sheffield (2016). She currently teaches on a number of undergraduate modules in language, culture and literature in Spanish at UL.


Research Interests

Dr Almanza-Gálvez's main area of research is in C18 Hispanic Studies, with a particular focus on the question of utopia. She has related interests with respect to contemporary literature in Spanish, including graphic novels and a developing interest in ecocritical and ecological questions.
