MSSI graduated 11 PhD students at the University’s conferring ceremonies in August 2015.

UL graduates continue to be the most sought after Irish University graduates as they are 22% more likely to be employed after graduation than any other Irish University Graduate.

The University of Limerick  summer conferring ceremonies  are taking place this week with  2422 students graduating, including 44 PhD graduates; 11of the PhD graduates are MSSI students.

UL President, Professor Don Barry highlighted the continued demand for UL graduates by employers; “The employment rate of UL graduates one year after graduation is more than 20% higher than the average for the other six Irish universities. We call that the “UL Edge” – and it is something of which this university is very proud. Our most recent survey revealed that more than 7 out of 10 of our graduates are going into direct employment.  And most of the rest go on to further study and research.”
