We are delighted to announce that on Thursday 7 March, 4pm in Millstream Common Room, the German-Ukrainian writer DMITRIJ KAPITELMAN will read from his novel "Das Lächeln meines unsichtbaren Vaters", for which he received the Klaus-Michael Kühne-Preis of the Harbour Front Literaturfestival 2016. The book is about his and his father's search for identity, which leads both of them to Israel.
Dmitrij Kapitelman was born in Ukraine and studied political science, sociology and journalism in Leipzig and München. He is a writer, journalist and musician and lives in Berlin.
His reading is part of this year’s series Limericker Literaturgespräche, organized by the Centre for Irish-German Studies and the German Section.
