The Plassey Law Review

The Plassey Law Review (the Review) is a student-run law review established at the University of Limerick. The review will publish articles and case notes on legal topics primarily submitted by law students. The Review is being established in conjunction with the School of Law at the University of Limerick and will be overseen by an Editorial Board comprising students and an Advisory Board comprising members of the faculty.

The Editorial Board

The Editorial Board of the Plassey Law Review consists entirely of students of the University of Limerick. The Board is responsible for analysing and editing submissions for publication in conjunction with the Advisory Board. In addition to the Board's core editorial duties, individual members have a variety of different responsibilities related to the administration of theReview. Examples of these responsibilities include liaising with possible sponsors of the Review and organizing the launch event.

Submissions

The Plassey Law Review is now accepting submissions. The review accepts submission in two forms; articles should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words in length and case notes should be approximately 1,500 words.

Submissions will be accepted from 14 October 2019 until 27 January 2020. All submissions must be sent in Word/Google Docs or PDF format by way of email attachment to ullaweditor@gmail.com. The review does not accept submissions by any other process.

All submissions must be set out in the style specified in the style guide which can be found below. In addition to this, all submissions must be referenced in compliance with the standard set out by OSCOLA Ireland.
